Great Golf & Spectacular Views Await...
At 6,830 yards, the Par 72 River Course is challenging but not punishing. The strategic placement of a variety of hazards rewards length and accuracy without severely penalizing casual and recreational golfers. The moderate central California climate and meticulous maintenance provide excellent year-round playing conditions. The fairways appear wide but mounding along the sides requires accuracy to avoid side-hill lies. Elevated tee boxes offer sweeping vistas of the fairways below and the greens are large with moderate undulations, making them a delight to putt.
The front nine finishes with a 172 yard Par 3 that plays down a hill and across Alamo Pintado Creek, which runs the width of the course. The back nine opens with the No. 2 handicap hole, a 430-yard Par 4 which plays downwind with the tee shot through a chute of trees. Another stand of trees runs down the left side of the fairway, and a gaping bunker guards the right side.
As the setting sun casts an array of lavenders, purples, and blues against the Santa Ynez Mountains, the last four holes traverse a plateau below the clubhouse. The Signature 123 yard 17th hole looks simple enough, but it's surrounded by water and sand, but the most challenging of the final four is the 15th hole which plays uphill across the creek. As your round culminates on the 18th green, golfers are invited to experience the full beauty of the River Course fom the terrace of our full service River Grill.

When playing our facility, you can use your Smartphone as a GPS device with one of the following Free GPS Apps. These apps feature exact yardages to the front, center & back of our greens, and are good for almost any course in the United States.
Simply click one of the logos below to be directed to the manufacturer's website to download the proper version for your smartphone (iPhone or Android). Once you find and select our course, it will be added to your 'favorite courses' for future use anytime you start the App. The Free versions are more than enough for most, but each company also offers a 'Pro' version of the App for a small, one-time fee. These versions will provide additional features & functionality such as scorecards, maps, hole flyovers & stat tracking. Be sure to read the descriptions on each manufacturer's website, and it's completely OK to try both!
